REGULATIONS

1. The International festival "Surva" will  be held in 4 major categories: 

• Children's survakari and kukeri groups - with an age limit of 14 years;
• Survakari and kukeri groups - age above 14;
• National folklore groups, representing the survakari winter and prestpring traditions and customs from the different regions of the country;
• Carnival groups from Europe and the world.

2. The survakari and kukeri groups will participate in the below-mentioned activities:

• Demonstrative parade (on a preliminary set by the organizing body basis);
• Competition parade - (on a preliminary set route including the central town square KRAKRA and the linking sreets) - max. time - 15 minutes. 

4. The groups representing customs on an indoor stage must supply a preliminary application as well as a short annotitation about the represented rite no later than 20.12.2001. The stage performance must not exceed 20 minutes.

5. In addition to their applications the foregn groups must supply video and photo grafic materials accompanied by a short annotation about the rite and a history of their group no later than 10.11.2001 

6.The specialists: the folklore, ethno, and cultural specialists from the country and Europe must apply for participation no later than 10.12.2001 accompanied by purpose and collaboration statements 

7.Participants from the country will be accommodated in:

• Hotels and hostels - payment after a preliminary made reservation 
• Schools - free after a preliminary made reservation.

8. The parade participants from Europe will be accommodated in hotels after a preliminary information and correspondence exchange with the organizing body. The organizing body will cover their stay expenses, excluding the travel expenses. 

9. The transportation of the country groups is on their own expense. 

10. The experts and guests from the country cover their own expenses. (transport, daily and accommodation expenses)
