The jury will consist of ethno, folk and
culture specialists from BAS, the Universities in the country, the
Historical Museum an Pernik and many others. They will evaluate the
perfomance of the masquerade games in two major categories:
- Winter games and customs
- Pre-spring games and customs
The jury will base on the following criteria:
- Cultural identity of the groups with the
community and the region it represents;
- Aspects of tradition, innovation and
improvisation during the performance of the ritual;
- Traditional outfit and costumes, including
the masks and the other accessories or their true-to fact
reconstruction;
- Requisit of the dance and the custom;
- Choreography of the dance elements
included;
- Music culture.
